These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of cherrybones.com (the “Site”) and any purchases, inquiries, or communications made through it. The Site is owned and operated by Alexandria Sandlin, doing business as “Cherrybones” (“Cherrybones,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), based in Seattle, Washington.

By accessing or using our Site, placing an order, or submitting an inquiry, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site.

Our Business

Cherrybones sells original, handmade artwork — including tangible paintings and digital artwork created using tools such as Adobe Fresco, Illustrator, and Photoshop — as well as merchandise featuring our artwork, such as prints, stickers, bookmarks, t-shirts, and similar products. We do not use generative AI in the creation of our artwork. We offer retail sales, wholesale purchasing, licensing, and gallery representation opportunities.

Intellectual Property

All artwork, images, designs, text, and content on this Site are the original creation of Alexandria Sandlin and are protected by U.S. and international copyright law. Purchasing a piece of physical or digital artwork does not transfer any copyright, reproduction rights, or licensing rights unless explicitly agreed to in a separate written licensing agreement.

You may not reproduce, distribute, display, or create derivative works from any artwork or content on this Site without our express written permission. For licensing inquiries, contact us at alexart@cherrybones.com.

Orders and Payment

  • All orders are processed and paid for through Stripe. By placing an order, you agree to Stripe’s terms of service in addition to ours.
  • Prices are listed in USD. We currently ship only within the United States.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud or pricing errors.

Wholesale, Licensing, and Gallery Representation

Inquiries regarding wholesale purchasing, licensing of artwork, or gallery representation are handled on a case-by-case basis and are subject to a separate written agreement between Cherrybones and the requesting party. Submitting an inquiry does not create any binding obligation until a separate agreement is signed by both parties.

Third-Party Services

Our Site relies on third-party services to operate, including but not limited to WooCommerce (e-commerce platform), Stripe (payment processing), ConvertKit (email marketing), and CookieYes (cookie consent management). Your use of these integrated services is also subject to each provider’s own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party providers.

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites not owned or controlled by Cherrybones. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any linked third-party site.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Our Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the Site. Product colors and details may vary slightly from photographs due to display settings and the handmade nature of original artwork.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cherrybones shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or purchase of our products.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the Site shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Washington State.
